What ages is this course for?
This course is designed to be used for anyone that can repeat back. Although those who are independent readers will get the most of the course, the Charlotte Mason approach is to listen and repeat before reading in the target language. Those who struggle with reading can pause, rewind and repeat!
How long does this take to finish?
Learning 1 or 2 lessons a week is recommended. Consider this as a semester course that you can spread out as you wish. Ideally, to be completed within 4-6 months. However, please do review as much as you can before moving on to each new lesson. The more you practice, the better!
Can this be a stand-alone course?
I have designed this to be able to stand on its own. However, I refer back to the Pronunciation and 1st French Courses and those who have experience with those will get the most of this one. If you have a trip to Paris in the coming year, though, I recommend doing this course first!
How many times can we use this course?
This course is yours to keep and to review again and again with all your children as they grow! It is the most economical of all the ways to work with me!
Which course should we start with first?
If your kids are not yet independent readers, I suggest doing one lesson each of Pronunciation Basics & the 1st French Feast course and go back and forth. That way, you set your foundation for pronunciation but also start speaking right away! If your kids are independent readers and are super excited about Paris, start the Paris course and go back and forth with Pronunciation Basics and then do the 1st French Feast after!
